SHORT DESCRIPTION
Casa Pura means “a pure, peaceful home” — not only in light, air, and natural materials, but also in emotional clarity, creating a place where the soul feels balanced and calm. The project involved merging two adjacent townhouses, a challenge that required precise structural calculations while unlocking new design possibilities. Natural light and atriums were used as creative tools, with slim sliding doors replacing solid walls to allow flexible separation, openness, and privacy. Child safety guided the design. All corners are softly rounded, shaping a gentle rhythm that makes the home feel crafted rather than constructed. The architecture avoids dramatic gestures; instead, it unfolds as a quiet journey, with each level offering a new perspective. Materials are simple: pale wood, beige walls, white stone, and natural flooring. The palette is restrained yet warm, designed to evoke serenity in every detail. The ground floor serves as a garage that also showcases the owner’s car collection. The second floor functions as a home office with a long desk by the window, a sofa for guests, and a small pantry. The third floor houses the master and an additional bedroom; the master suite overlooks a park, with a starry ceiling and a bathtub placed by the window. Curves are most prominent on the fourth and fifth floors, home to the living room, kitchen, and a private work area filled with light from both sides. The kitchen emphasizes practicality with an island that integrates an expandable dining table, while hidden appliances keep the space uncluttered. The living room, with its double-height curved wall, features only one TV and carefully composed indirect lighting. A starry ceiling reappears here, creating a different nighttime atmosphere. The rooftop tropical garden connects earth and sky, with outdoor kitchen facilities and concealed technical systems that preserve comfort and aesthetics.
