SHORT DESCRIPTION
Love Letter is a Neoclassical Cello Album by Nana Ouyang, released in 2024. It was the second solo album collaborating with CONSPROS following The Star. Each composition, in Nana’s words, is a “Love Letter” expressed through music—an intimate collection of emotions, reflections, and aspirations for love. The album’s concept and packaging are rooted in Nana’s identity as a “young classical musician,” drawing inspiration from her artistic temperament and musical style. Its structural design references postal delivery, a traditional mode of communication that embodies ritual and emotional significance. At the heart of the design is the mailbox, the central symbol of the project. Love Letter conveys messages directed to the heart, encompassing joy, sorrow, longing, and affection. The design takes cues from a Doll’s House, featuring a heart-shaped window above the slot—evoking both the anticipation of reply and the warmth of connection. The album unfolds through five “deliveries”: 1.Letter&Photo – A wraparound file folder holds the CD together with selected photographs, each linked to a specific track, ensuring every listener receives a unique personal combination. 2.Deer’s Chamber – Paper dolls and origami create a delicate miniature house, enriched with instruments, furniture, and festive ornaments, symbolizing the intimate space where love quietly dwells. 3.Love Stamps – A series of custom stamps accompanies each letter, representing emotional milestones and turning every exchange into a permanent and collectible testimony of love. 4.Mini Album – A kraft-paper envelope preserves a 45-page photo booklet marked with Nana’s mirrored logo, evoking the private act of holding cherished memories close to the heart. 5.Melody on Lace – Fine lace textures, fabric details, and subtle light effects extend the music into tactile form, suggesting that love’s resonance can also live within everyday objects.
